Questions parents ask.
Who are the tutors?
High school students from the Bay Area who qualified for the AIME, the invitation-only exam for the top few percent of AMC takers. Several have perfect AMC 8 scores.
Do I need an account before booking?
No. Book and pay as a guest, and we'll create your family account automatically. You'll get an email with a sign-in link, and you can use it for every future booking.
Can my child have their own login?
Yes. Add your child's email when you book (or later in settings) and they can sign in to see their sessions, homework and feedback. Parents always see everything for their kids.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancel from your dashboard more than 48 hours before a lesson for a full refund. Inside 48 hours we refund everything except a $5.99 fee. Joining more than 15 minutes late counts as a missed lesson.
We're not in California. Does that matter?
Not at all. Every time on the site, and in our reminder emails, is shown in your own time zone.
Are camps really free?
Yes. Camps are free and by application. At the end we suggest an optional $15 donation, which helps keep them free for everyone. There's no winter camp this year; the next one is Summer 2027.
How do you keep students safe online?
Parents create the account, we only ask for what we need, Zoom links are shown only to enrolled students, and sessions are never recorded or shared.
